ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ

The Most Merciful

عَلَّمَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ

Taught the Qur'an

خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ

Created man

عَلَّمَهُ ٱلۡبَيَانَ

[And] taught him eloquence

ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ بِحُسۡبَانٖ

The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation
